Blog postings can be created offline?

This is a MUST-KNOW for bloggers!

Windows Live Writer lets you create, edit & publish to blogs! I've been happily using it for 2 weeks & would like to recommend to all of you! :-D

This is the screen capture of me creating this posting in Windows Live Writer!

Software

Why use Windows Live Writer?

  • Save as drafts (Save your postings as draft & post them as and when you wish at any sequence. In blogger, once you save as draft, the sequence of posting is fixed. You can't have the draft posting to appear after the next posting you just created.)
  • Blogging Offline! (This is the best of all! With the software you can create blog even though you're not connected to the Internet! If you have limited web access, this will definitely save you some money. You connect only when you want to publish.)
  • More flexibility (e.g. Insert function lets you can create table here as if you're in MS Frontpage! Adding photos is also much faster. You don't have to wait for the 1 by 1 photo uploading.)
  • Picture Effect (e.g. Drop Shadow, watermark! It's something I always wanted to do on all images posted. See screen shot above!)
  • WYSIWYG Interface (It provides you an option to download the design of your blog & let you blog in a familiar interface!)
  • Save Time (With all the above advantages, you get to cut down at least 50% of your blogging time!)
  • Blogging for >1 Blog! (You can Add all of your Weblog Accounts & switch among them to create postings!)
  • It's FREE! (Just download it from Microsoft website today & make your life easier! http://www.windowslive.com/overview.html )

I update >3 blogs regularly & this is like a savior to me.

You will thank me when you get one :-)
